I just won my promo and skipped from silver 5 to silver 3 but my question is how it work ? It is entirely about my score from my few matches or simply because its the third time im doing the same promo ? [zombie-brand-clap]

Fairly sure if your promos went well, it's like having your placements go well, and you get more MMR per win, especially if you were already on a winning streak.
if you're silver 5 and have 1000 MMR per say and rank up you'll go to silver 4
if you're silver 5 and have 1300+ mmr you're likely to skip to silver 3 and so on
mmr is hidden(and beyond retarded IMO) and it's almost impossible to know what it is aside from guesswork, but if you're steamrolling up through the ranks winning almost every game you'll usually skip tiers
I know that if you have already been in promos once and get right back into them you get a free win when entering promos. Were you once in silver 3 and fell all the way to 5?
It has to do with your MMR or win rate being high enough.
I have had it happen in the past.
