A message to the outspoken Rammus enthusiasts

To get straight to the point, I'm putting my two main points up front.

#1. Rammus is not weak. #2. Fun is subjective.

These are the two main arguments that can be summed up of what I have seen so far being made on the boards, that the rework "gutted" Rammus or made him "unplayable" and "unsatisfying". Let's address them.

##Weak

Just by doing a little bit of research, it is indisputable that Rammus is not nearly at the bottom of the barrel. Whether the statistics are taken from all roles or from plat+, Rammus' winrate tends toward above 50%.

Here, have some videos of my own if you want actual in-game evidence of how strong he can be: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egmNu9ctqT4

##Unfun, unsatisfying

Again, something like this is subjective. Despite seeing "all these others trying to make their voices heard", please note that places of feedback like the gameplay boards tend to be used as outlets of frustration rather than for sending Riot compliments and notes of approval.

What you view as a gathering of OG Rammus players trying to defend their beloved champion is really just a small, vocal minority that developed a very closed off view of what their main is supposed to be.

Sure, I can agree with you all that the self-slow was a drastic change to Rammus' playstyle when I tried out the rework for the first time. In fact, I almost quit because I was being swayed by all the posts I read on the boards prior to playing him about how "Rammus was gutted" by a bunch of 'mains' that came out of nowhere to post about it. However, after a couple of rough games, I adjusted to his new limitations... and his new strengths.

tl;dr Rammus is not weak. That is indisputable fact, while fun is a personal opinion.

he already was strong though, still with how unsatisfying he feels to me I won't be playing him anymore

I can agree with this statement. I've logged some time on new Rammus, and I've had a blast playing him. He feels legitimately strong right now, and very satisfying. By giving him the self-slow, they can double down on his damage, and give him far more utility.

Its totaly unfun to play against this bs... his taunt point and clic + item 3075.

Dude are you serious? This post just screams of fail. Too many points to address and not sure where to start. I guess I will start by saying that you are not a diehard rammus main. If you were, you would feel more strong about the W slow. Rammus is not meant to go slow, especially when using one of his abilities, and I will not entertain otherwise.

The next think that I thought was funny was that you never really explain how more unplayable or unsatisfying rammus is now. Me along with others were coming at this from that standpoint. Not sure where you are getting that we are trying to say anything else, but you can keep wasting your own time on websites that post win rates and other stats that are not to be meant to be taken serious. Ask anyone, lol. Those websites are a waste of time bud.

And what you call a "vocal minority" really isn't a minority at all. Do you even know what percentage of the player base even goes on the boards and posts? Guessing not because of your foolish statements. We are having quite a showing in my eyes.

It's pretty hilarious that even you had a problem with Rammus at first and almost quit but you feel so compelled to come on the boards and try to put us down. Well guess what? We aren't going away. I don't think you even know what indisputable means. Try to look it up in the dictionary. op.gg statistics are not gods word bud. They actually change all the time if you knew anything about them, even without a new patch. And they are the top % of league players, when most league players are below that level.

That's what is so good about the boards. Our ability to make our voice heard and not just accept champ changes shoved down our throat. At least we are getting our opinions out there.

tl;dr Rammus is weaker whether you want to admit it or not. Maybe not weaker in your sense but in ours much weaker. Learn to accept others opinions.
