Mirrored from the PBE boards, concerns about the Quinn changes
I'm freaking out right now about this because it seems like it removes so much of what makes Quinn unique and enjoyable as a champion
At the moment I'm maining Quinn, after switching to solo lanes from support Quinn is one of my favorite champions to pick in either lane, I play her bot lane if I'm merksman, but I prefer to play her mid/top.
Releasing Kindred as a jungle marksman was a really cool move, it brings more options to the game than the standard of always taking the ADC bot with a 0 cs support. Quinn I feel brings the same kind of options to the solo lanes, opening up bot lane to try other things like double bruiser, or maybe some combination of damage mages, adding to the strategic diversity in the game. The proposed changes seem to force Quinn into the bot lane as a lot of her early damage and dueling power is tied to her passive, blind and execute. The suggested changes seem to suggest that Riot isn't as familiar with Quinns playstyle as I am, so I want to share how I play her.
This is how I've been playing Quinn, I start
or
x3 depending on the matchup. At level 1 if the enemy starts a camp I will either start one myself or pull the lane, if they don't I will meet them in lane and try to aggress them at level 1 by killing the first few minions so that I have a slightly larger first wave, and then starting a trade to force the enemy back to tower, since I killed had more minions/took aggro, the minion wave will be set up to give me an early level 2, so I can all in my opponent if it makes sense to try for either a kill or force them to back. Typically I take Q vs range opponents and E vs melee, with some exceptions, like Vlad, where I still take E. From here I buy a few different items,
for sustain and kite potential, usually more common for top lane,
vs squishier targets that I can burst or to counter armor, or
if I'm vs an AP lane with high early burst. If I'm mid lane I look to roam once I have my ult, unless I can use it to all in my lane opponent, with the move speed and execute Quinn has one of the strongest roams in the game, even giving TF some competition. Having the option to snowball side lanes vs a counter is one of the best qualities of Quinn.
My build by mid game usually looks something like this
, which combine with Quinns kit to give her excellent dueling potential, making her great for split pushing, especially since she can ult to escape if more than one person is sent or join her team if they get engaged on 4v5. Late game I will either go an assassin build
and try to catch out members of the enemy team or a fighter build

and focus on kiting the enemy. If I play her marksman I still go with the assassin build and try to take out their marksman before fights.
Rather than trying to make Quinn a normal marksman why not focus on her identity as the solo lane marksman? She already fills that role quite well, and has been doing that since release.
P.S. If I can get an honest discussion going with a red I will do everything I can to try to get an Oreo cake delivered to Riot HQ.:)
