to make it clear: because jungle camps take forever to respawn and clear junglers are gutted in favor of gank heavy junglers
this isn't the only reason though.
The other reason is that mid lane is in a bad spot right now. Too many assassins means mages are less common, which opens the door for supports mid since mages are the ones that punish support mids with their waveclear.
I don't even need to watch the video... There's 2 reasons:
) make it so junglers are relevant first 5 minutes and then completely useless - they are still strong in brain dead solo queue, but sucks for competitive. So funnel is OP: since junglers are useless, a 2nd support with utility kit brings more even down in exp. and gold, and ADC can become strong quickly
JARVAN RECALLED TO BASE AND BACKED STILL NOT RESPAWNED OMEGALUL RIOT
You could've ganked top, put deep wards down, or taken the bottom side scuttler.
The alternative is that jungle camps are always up, and a player can just pick Yi/shyv or any other "clear" jungler, constantly farm for 20 minutes and then come out of the jungle and start massacring everyone.
Riot changed this because people used to do it, and there wasnt any real counterplay to it besides having your own jungler constantly trying to counterjungle them. They wanted jungle to have to interact instead of being PVE. Now junglers are forced to interact, so clear junglers aren't as powerful
You cant have it both ways. You cant force junglers to have to interact AND have a clear jungler strat be viable
Just enough time to post another complaint on the forum
The funnel strat needs to die a horrible death and never come back, also Kaisa needs some sort of change.
very good video, took me 30 sec to get it but yea this is true
Well, I had a game where we were against a taric mid with a yi jungle. The taric funneled all his gold to yi and became a support. He ended up inting us and lost due to having two supports. We all agreed he inted, and his only response was that he was reporting everyone who said he inted. I guess that's "verbal abuse"?
what did i watched?
