Justice Punch: WHY NO AD SCALING?

Hilltop Sunset·3/17/2017, 6:28:43 PM·5 votes·820 views

It's not called "Magic Punch," "Mystic Punch," "Ethereal Punch," or any other such name that might cause one to assume the basic power behind the punch was magical. Nor does the animation for the punch look magical by any means--it looks pretty similar to Vi's Q. So my question is, why the heck does this have no AD scaling?

If Justice Punch (and maybe even his ult?) was given an AD ratio, it might actually make an AD Bruiser Galio viable, which would be really cool. I don't think the ratios should be large by any means, but having SOME scaling would, if nothing else, make thematic sense for an ability literally called "Justice Punch."

because justice is magical

just look at the star guardian line or Taric or when helmet bro transformed into a star guardian

Because putting an AD scaling on a primarily Magic Damage champ is stupid?

Looks like it's magic damage all the way through for his kit, if I found the most up to date PBE stuff.

His only AD scaling is equivalent to the normal auto damage he'd've done with an auto, only it gets converted to magic damage for penetration purposes.

I have no problem with a giant, flying, animated rock being propelled by magic. I can't think of many non-magical methods for a big rock to deliver a justice punch.

The idea of justice as a magical concept instead of a mundane one amuses me.

And I don't think I wanna see that kit built with Titanic Hydra and Frozen Mallet, and not be trolling.

The animation looks pretty magical to me. You have a glowing halo of magic power surrounding you, when you use it. How's that not magical?

Because it wouldn't help his kit?

He uses AP therefore it would be best for Galio if Justice Punch used AP

Alistar does magic damage despite hitting the ground really hard.

Galio is designed to be a warden, not a fighter right?

ChickenWrap3/17/2017, 8:53:22 PM1 votes

Galio is not meant to be an AD Bruiser.

He was and always will be the premiere anti-magic AP tank.

Duh?
