Normal Queue Matchmaking

Lately, I have been seeing too many people in my games that are a much higher rank than others in the individual games. The matchmaking system (in its optimal condition) should be matchmaking player of the same skill level, correct? Well, Riot doesn't really understand that philosophy. There are bronze players getting matched up with gold and platinum players. Due to the matchmaking system, I have been stuck in bronze since I started playing (November 2015, which isn't too long), and during my placements, those who were on my team, were fairly new players, or were of lesser skill level than me, and the other team was silver, gold, or platinum that have been playing for the past two seasons or longer. I know this is about normal queue, but I should expect the same skill level across the board. If premades are what is causing higher skill level players to be against lower skill level players, then there should be a separate queue system for solo and premade lobbies. (This is being posted at 4:00 a.m., so it may sound ignorant.)
