I understand WHY zhonya was changed, but some champions will not be the same.

Im someone who really likes playing kennen support (well just kennen in general), and yesterday I realized just how much of an issue it will be for kennen to do his things with the new zhonya, its such a core item on him, and on other champions as well (morgana, any champion vs AD, etc) Although many champions as long as they arnt vs AD can survive without building zhonya's (because lets be honest, no-one is going to build it for the active unless theres some AD too, because its so cost inefficient.), those few champions that NEED zhonya's to survive in fights, to set up ults etc.. will not be seen again except outside of roles where the zhonya no-longer matters (ad kennen for example)

If i could suggest anything, I would say, lower the price, lower the stats, make zhonya cost ineffecient, sure, but for champions who need it, let them atleast get it easily without gutting themselves in the process ( 80% stat effeciency on 3000 gold is 600 gold of wasted stats, 75% on 1000 is only 250 gold of stats)

I don't get why people are complaining about zhonas. I never bought it because I thought it countered AD champs. Reduces their damage some but doesn't counter them. I used to buy it so people that I couldn't self peel wouldn't be able to just dive me and instajib me or to dodge telegraphed ults. As far as I can tell they aren't changing the active which means everyone who bought it to stop people diving them or avoid certain skills will keep doing it. 83.5 gold efficiency, 5 armor, 20 ap, none of that shit matters when you bought it to save you from karth or zeds ult and it does its job. I would like to see some other Ap/armor items though that give you other options for dealing with melee champs as a mage.

I like the changes the made to zhonya's. although I think that they've made a lot of shift towards the power of AD and not enough changes towards the power of mages.
