  • Hecarim Homeguard teleport cheese
  • Top lane Cinderhulk
  • Sion jungle suicide

Anyone disagree that these are healthy and in the spirit of the game?

Hecarim already got a homeguard TP nerf when revive was removed.

Cinderhulk isn't exactly OP in top lane, you simply have to play a little differently, just like you do every time something new comes to top.

Sion dieing in the jungle is still a disadvantage due to the respawn timer. It's less of a disadvantage for him than it would be for anyone else, but it is still a disadvantage.

he has to use his tp too for that. and usually i rush my farm to get the same level and money.

I definitely disagree. Those are part of the game that was just brought out by players who found success in them.

And who is to say "unhealthy" to the game? you?

This really just seems like a biased thread from player that can't accept changes.

Hec has always been that way, Tp has always been that way, homeguard has always been that way. and NOW you want to say it's unhealthy?

Logic please

God forbid you learn to adapt to new changes in the game.

GOD. FORBID.

It honestly made me sad to read that TP/Smite article on the front page and even see PRO PLAYERS, who should be PROMOTING diversity and adaptation, who SHOULD be good enough to figure out workarounds for new gimmicky tricks, calling for Cinderhulk nerfs because it is useful outside of the jungle.

Game Diversity will never happen as long as people just bitch for new changes to be undone everytime it forces them to alter their own play.

Remember Spirit of the Lizard Elder? That's why jungle items need to stay in the jungle.

but double jungler isnt a bad thing. and the top laners DO actually jungle aswell. counter jungle most specifically. i think its good for the variety of the game.

Eh. Marksmen missed out on a lot of other good stats by taking that item.

the problem here is that all progamers, and therefore the "meta", are prefering champions that have either great mobility and trying to abuse this (ahri, zed, leblanc, kassadin for example)(depending on meta) OR play champions that are generally "super safe". like when mundo first came up in toplane.

there is nothing against "being safe" and "outscaling" and all that shit, but there always was a way to punish playstyles. like when mundo and the other tanks first came up years ago, it was popular in korea to pick renekton, build 1-2 damage items and punish them for being weak early laners. sure people have learned and the meta has shifted even more in favor of tanks. EVEN BEFORE CINDERHULK!, a tank or a "safe utility mage" was 99% picked in toplane at all times. there was the occassional feeding bruiser thrown in, but whatever.

tho BEFORE the cinderhulk, it was fairly possible to completely shut down or at least beat a tank with a bruiser. right now tho, it has become INCREDIBLY hard due to the possibility of fast and easy jungle farming. also, the 75 second cooldown "exgnite" is pretty good for champions that have more survivability, thus, stand and fight longer.

so, i dont know about "homeguard teleport cheese" as basically every champion can do that. why is it so good on hecarim? like, i remember karthus did that alot in the past lol.

i also dont know about sion dying in the jungle to farm. whatever.

what i do know tho is that picking smite as a laner always gave you the advantage of sweet jungle farming but came as a tradeoff in the form of a summoner spell and laning power. now that there is no tradeoff, its simply "the best option", thus, the opposite of diversity and also the opposite of balance.

If you ask me, these are healthy for the game. It's diversity, and it makes champions more unique, and it makes player going against them have to think about how they're playing and how to counterplay.

A few nerfs may be needed, like Shyvana top with Smite, but for the most part, is good.

Now granted Hecarim does get an AD boost from the MS granted by HomeGuard/TP, But the strategy is not unique to Hecarim. Now if this made Hecarim over Bearing, all you would need to do is shave some of the power off his passive. But I don't see Homeguard/TP going anywhere.

Sion's Suicide Jungle strat is not that different if any other top laner took a camp, recalled and then TP, The only advantage is a few seconds. So I would argue that it's actually quite a menial difference.

I'm not going to say much about Cinderhulk, I'm still not sure if it's Cinderhulk, or Challenging smite that the problem. Considering a) the passive wave clear isn't that much different from a sunfire cape. and b) Challenging smite is redonculous in the solo lane due to the fact that you only have one opponent and your ability to reduce enemy damage.

All three nerfed. Mission accomplished.
