"Self Ban" system idea
Just got an idea from another thread.
EDIT: Before we start. The system would not affect the enemy team. This means, that player you blacklist could still be matchmade into the enemy team. So if you ban the good players, then you will NOT make your games easier. Banning the good player will not prevent that player playing in your game. It only puts that player into the enemy team.
We all hate certain type of players. E-bay accounts, toxic people, trolls, feeders, script users, and other "non-desirables".
My idea is to add a button to "ban" anyone. Now this wouldn't be a "real ban". It wouldn't stop them from playing the game. It would simply make the matchmaking not putting you into the SAME team as them.
They still could occur in ENEMY, because we don't want people use it on good players to avoid them.
Also the system wouldn't permanently "ban" them right away. It would be an increasing method, and you would be notified if someone "banned" you. First time would be a week, then 2 weeks, then 4, and then it would become permanent. Unless if you go into the right options, and manually remove the person. Playing with the player 2 times without "banning" would reset the timer.
No extra resources from Riot later, and after some point these non-desireables would only play with similar players in team. If it gets out from hand, then we suggest players to turn off the cross-team chat. So they can't see the enemy team's flaming.
EDIT: Those who downvote. Care to explain why? Or they just recognized themselves in the first lines, and don't wana play with similar players.
EDIT2: Can't edit pools, but would you agree for ranked only?
