Will the meta-game ever change?
Just wondering if people think we might ever have a strategy other than 1-1-2 + jungler meta again.

in noob days. levels 1-20 or so. it was 2 top. 1 mid 2 bot lane.
Nope, Riot has said in the past that they will never enforce a meta, but either on purpose or by mistake they have enforced one for along while now.
Supports are not allowed to be anything other than supports or they're punished, nerfed and put back into their designated lane. Dragon control is required, period. And that has made junglers a must since the presence of smite is required. And we've all seen what happens when lane smite shows up (Long story short someone's getting nerfed) And don't get me started on the way Riot keeps it's key children strong, ergo in turn it keeps them in power in their respective roles enforcing that meta.
The best thing that could happen to the meta is some alternate maps with a little variation. I'm not talking about Heroes of the Storm levels of map diversity, but something more like baseball, where stadiums are standardized, and yet no two of them are exactly alike.
