Can We Maybe be a Bit More Fair to Brand?

I've noticed a lot of people have been calling for Brand nerfs and such, but I advise caution both to those who are not thinking before asking for nerfs and the Riot balance team.

I'm not an expert on game balance, so, sure, maybe Brand could use a nerf or 2; however, he has NO mobility. Personally, I am okay with having him dealing super high damage, as he has to hit skillshots or get in short range to do it AND he's completely immobile. It takes a lot for immobile champs like Brand to be meta, and a nerf that's a little too strong could easily make him tumble into obscurity.

I fully understand if people's frustrations with Brand outweigh their desire to leave him be, but I do ask that everyone take a second glance when they complain about IMMOBILE champs specifically. In my mind, immobile champs should be holding more damage/cc, etc.

Anyway, that's the end of what I have to say. I just have this vision of a future where immobile champs have a stronger place in league by having proper things that make them have to truly be outplayed by what should be comparably squishier and (at least slightly) lower-damage mobile champions.

the issue is his damage is too high as a support while only getting limited gold /ap

and he isnt quite as viable as mid building pure ap.

so they need to lower base damage and increase ap ratios which would lower his burst and dominance as a support while increasing his power as an AP MID LANER

I don't think that will be enough to make inmobile mages competetive mid lane
