I thought they fixed the nunu bug?

Yes I got ganked no Im not complaining about being ganked. Im just saying I didnt see nunu till he stunned me so i had no time to flash or anything.....In a ranked game how is this fair? Seriously? I reviewed the game after we lost. And it said he was coming from lane and he just appeared? Seriously love the invisible nunu bug....So I permaban nunu now?

Its been months since this bug was noticed on youtube ive found and ... but they didnt do anything about it? Seriously?

They frequently say they fixed bugs and then they don't actually do it.

Orianna Invisible ball, said it was fixed after 8 months. Actually wasn't fixed for almost 3 years.

Talon E not jumping over terrain correctly, said it was fixed a few patches after rework. Took around 2 years for an actual fix.

Taliyah Voice lines bugged since shortly after release, said it was fixed after a year or so. Still happens to this day.

Sometimes they do make it slightly better, but most of the time I can't tell a difference. Which has made me pretty skeptical of bug fixes over the years.

And then we have the entire client, where instead of fixing QOL issues, they introduce more major bugs with every single new patch.

nope they never fixed it. some ppl say it was fixed for 2 months but to me thats just bs.

the funniest thing about this entire story is: riotaugust said he will fix the bug never heard from him again heard from him again he now works on TFT doesnt work on TFT anymore changed his name from riotaugust to something with yuumi.

its so hilarious i love it.

said he will fix the bug, couldnt, basically changed his job, came back and then changed his name. rito in a nutshell

But that's the problem, is that if he starts his snowball and you can't see him, he could potentially rock up totally invisible, nothing you can do about it. Also, you can't flash in nunu snowball.

You can't Flash W.

It's a well known bug. If Nunu isn't reveled at the start of the game and he has Hunters Tailsman(not Machete) his first W will be "invisible". The only thing you can really do about it is invade and ward both of his buffs or spot him.

Good to know. That is annoying. I was doing well against lucian (minus missing some skill shots there and there) than bam I get put behind due to a bug. Going to have to play smarter I guess.

even if he flashed, He appeared out of no where. If you check the minimap, it said he was at blue than teleported to my lane...FeelsBadMan

Welcome to what coding is. You think you fixed a bug? Surprise! You actually just fixed a very small minute interaction that caused that bug, and there's still about 50 others that you have no idea about that cause it as well. It's what makes all these posts that show up on the boards of "just fix the bugs rito wtf?!!!" pure whining. They are working on the bugs, all of them. It's just with a game like League, with as much legacy code they are working with, the difference in machines the game is played on, and all the millions of variables that can influence every occurrence in a game of League, it can take weeks of work just to even find what's causing the problem.

I would say it's pretty normal for someone to be at least a little upset about a bug that can possibly set the tone for an entire game being around for a long while.

Like, I understand your point. Bugs can often be incredibly difficult to fix. But I'm not sure chastising people who are hoping for some sort of fix and posting on the boards (as is generally recommended to help Riot find said bugs) a great idea.

I'm a coder in C++, C#, Java, Phyton. The bug is seen day by day in clips so they could reproduce it, they know what causes it. Another usual bug is when Nunu goes flying out of the map which is seen almost always when RekSai knocks him up with W. It definetly can be fixed it might just be, after knowing a bug it can ALWAYS be fixed maybe a little more resources will be required on the hardware but that can't be anything big in this case. If they actually haven't found out what the bug is or just don't fix it because it's hard then why are they getting paid exactly? I kind of know it's not the coders fault but management whatever. Maybe don't make 10 new even buggier champs while it is not fixed? Maybe ban him in ranked games while there are multiple gamebreaking bugs about him? I just wait for the time when nunu gets picked at championships and the game has to be remade over and over. So they are very much wrong here and they should be blamed. Just look at Sett's release. They release stuff not caring about any of the obvious bugs. For the love of god Sett was called buggy on the first day, that will come out in testing if you invest anything into it in the age of "Test-Driven Development".
