Why am i being paired with Gold1/Plat 3 enemies

When Im silver 1? If you are going to implement end of season rewards why do you pair people with their elo but award individuals based on their tier bracket. It essentially forces me to lose a bunch of fucking games to play with the people in the division your system has placed me.
