Is the champion itself unbalanced? Maybe. But when he is Sated, has Rageblade, and has the two components to BORK and is able to deal 1340 true damage in 5 seconds to me as Mundo with 230 armor (Thornmail and Sunfire) there is something very very wrong. Mind you I had Spirit Visage and Merc Treads complete at this point in time for just over 140 MR to combat the magic damage that is also a part of Rageblade passive. Doesn't matter though because even though he only had 218 AD at fully stacked Rageblade he dealt over 1300 true damage to me. There is nothing ok about that. This Yi also had Deadman's Plate so he also had some defense to him so I couldn't stand my ground as over 3000 health Mundo or when we team fought he was able to survive while still dishing out absurd amounts of physical damage, magic damage, and true damage. Something needs to be done whether it's an item combination issue or the champion itself or all the above. It's incredibly frustrating and toxic to deal with.

I should note that Magic Resist is literally the most insignificant way you can defend yourself from even a Rageblade Yi. Doesn't matter than you collected over 140 MR, it's just not contributing much if not at all to shutting down Yi's DPS potential.

Furthermore, "he only had 218 AD"? That's a fucking lot for an attack speed based auto attacker, so please don't pretend he's doing something outrageous and unreasonable that he has that much damage and thus he's dealing that much damage.

Finally, your stats primarily rest in your Tankiness and his stats primarily rest in his DPS. You have no way of shutting him down and, mathematically, even if Rageblade wasn't the overtuned crutch it is right now, he's going to have the advantage on you in a 1v1 situation. There's no playing that off, he's designed to counter champs like Mundo if he wins the stat check.

1340 true damage from an auto attack reliant champion though? the only reason you'd have for downvoting this is you use Yi or Sated champs.

And brother, I've written a titanic ass article dedicated to countering Yi. You can put the tinfoil hat away, I can assure you that the Master Yi mains aren't trying to silence you, you're just not making the right arguments.

Anyway to answer your question, 1340 true damage from an auto attack champion sounds...totally right. Auto attackers are by nature designed to kill tanks. It's honestly not surprising that he does that much damage dedicated to killing normal tanks.

I skimmed through your post and I really appreciate it. This looks like it took a vigorous amount of time and dedication to put together. It really needs more appraisal and viewability (choice of word?).

As for OP:

For a bit,I really didn't know who to ban, so I would use mine on Yi. I faced him a couple of times, and he is a pain and all, but I learned I could easily counter him as Shyvana [jungle]. I think her bulk plus damage output really helps. My suggestion is to be able to out-damage him. If I were playing Mundo and had to face an enemy Yi on their team, I wouldn't bother trying to brawl with him because I know how tanky I get there is nothing to really be done. He'll outsustain and damage you.

3K health is not much and as others have mentioned item 3102 or item 3065 as MR is pretty useless against Yi. They give health and that's it. Against bruiser yi as mundo, item 3009 item 3143 item 3083 item 3053 + may be item 3075 . Mundo cleave is what makes the difference, if you can't land your cleave you can't survive and with insane health regen survive long enough for a team mate to hill him.

1 vs 1 . Yi will not engage you unless his ULT is available. (He'll always go for R+E combo against any tank). On a side note, donno how (or howmuch) thornmail will reflect true damage .
