This patch season change was too abrupt at the pace that Riot has balanced things in the past and the fact that one of the items they changed comes out of pbe broken means we will not see near universal viability in champion pools for a long time.I will give some examples.

Many non burst control mages (lux,Orianna,Twisted fate) among others really got hurt badly with the removal of an item that was perfectly balanced mana potions. The removal of an option that is open to everyone yet used by only some is a buff to others. There was already a choice made to restrict the ability to fine tune non resource champions specific strengths by removing the ability to tune the secondary recourse. This was a mistake then there were mistakes made inside this mistake like no cool down abilities on champs that have no secondary resource to tune.

This patch was put into place with no obvious reasonable reason given or planned out path posted on these issues and it does not look good for people who do not play juts to win.

Riot stated that professional lvl play is the best balance place to look skill wise to tune the game. They are professionals yet your company future is dependent on the vast majority the casual player. The attitude you stated in the before you post balance issues is a limited rationalization I.E. Excuse to give middle finger to what makes your company viable the core base of players and income.

I don't wish to be all negative but instead of excuses and new items being broken on changing after weeks of testing. Defining a path with time estimates on where and when your taking the game might stop allot of negative posts.

How long had Poppy been targeted to need change when was the first statement that something needed to be done there is no estimate. Just like there is no estimated time line for the mana changes and balance adjustments from patch 5.22 this and the excuse that pro play is where the skill is most even to observe and make changes is frankly bad service to you true customer base and the community as a whole.

I could argue that professional play is not best test bed for balance on pure numerical statistics that the sample pool is too small and the changes happen before any true stability in statistical numbers exist. That it might be more accurate to crunch the numbers of every single game played by everyone to base the changes on. One might also argue that you use no real scientific methodology to derive these assumptions of what is balanced since you change too many things at a time to truly have any hope moving toward balance with consistency.

I could accept that The pro players do Figure out for you where they can abuse your mistakes. That is their job their job is not to have fun your Riot's is to make this game fun so the core income stays with you.Part of the community want to play and have fun they do not want to make a job of adjusting especially to bad patches. The best patches are the little ones the tuning where is the tuning of 5.22 you tossed it onto pbe then strait to the customer it seems this is what we see we see no tuning we see bulk tossed at us with an excuse and another new champ.Your customers deserve some focus!
