Getting out of bronze and getting better.

So a few days ago i worked my way up to Bronze 2. As i try to push further i get knocked all the way back down to bronze 4. All of my hard work was gone.

I know many people have made posts on getting out of "elo hell" but i do believe i can do it but something seems to be holding me back. No im not going to complain about my teammates (although i wish some of them dident try yasuo for the first time in a ranked game). I consider myself a decent player. Not amazing, yet not bad, just decent.

Ive played all roles and all champions and make myself as flexible to trade and pick as needed in champ select. Maybe this a good thing, maybe this a bad thing. Hell i dont know anymore. Its been this way for a little over a year now for me. Any advice from players is greatly appreciated.

Also please dont be disrepectful. I simply want to enjoy the game like everyone else.

Thank you :)

You'll hear so many things. Git gud, focus on farming, focus on map awareness, focus on this, focus on that Just watch all of Dong Huap's videos. They are probably not 100% correct, but the guy is D3. He knows so much about the game and puts simple words on it so us low elo plebs can understand really easily. Give him a try.

I too have went from Bronze 5 to Bronze 1 back down to B4 back up to high B2, now I look to be on my way back down.

I pretty much feel its just flipping a coin at this point, sure how I play influences the game slightly, but whatever. I'm not arrogant enough to think I'm solely responsible for the long win streaks I've been on to climb, or the awful streaks to drop.

Climbing is playing lots of games and not feeding in most of them. With enough games, you will climb. The system is designed to give you feeders in half of your games. You never know what kind of team you're getting which I why I said your goal should always be first and foremost not feeding. When you get good teams, by not feeding you will actually win all of them. This should net you roughly 50% winrate.

When someone is not climbing, it's because they are the reason their team lost when they didn't get the noob/feeding/troll team.

You just gotta stick it out and keep playing.

All the "decent" players are in high-gold low-plat.
