Invasion Mode: My Synopsis so Far

After playing a few games of Invasion, I got to say that this mode is actually pretty fun as it brings something a bit unique to Leagues Rotating Queue. I like the whole team atmosphere it brings & it makes that last encounter with "The Big One" (I call her the Rift Queen, but that's just me) all that more satisfying. However, there are two things I would like to go over that need addressing.

The Big One & Vel'koz Velkoz are rather concerning here. Given that some champions don't have the mobility aside from Ezreal Ezreal & Ahri Ahri , they're guaranteed to either get chunked or die to the Big Ones spinning attack (the one where you need to use the environment as cover). Sometimes I feel like it's not telegraphed enough & You won't have time to prepare or dodge it. I know that this is the Finale of this mode, but this attack is rather ridiculous. Vel'Koz needs to be tuned down a bit, His [Q] should not be global & there should be less Vel'Koz spawning in as it the game becomes a Bullet Hell that gets worse the more Vel'Koz that spawn in. I'm ok with the Giant Variants, but the whole Bullet Hell thing needs to either go or be toned down. I'd rather deal with Kha'Zix, Skarner or Kog'Maw than deal with that.

Overall, I feel like this is a much more challenging & Difficult Survival map compared to Doombots Mk.2. I might do a Follow up on this much later when Invasion is rotated out, this way I can give a Full Opinion on the mode. By this point, people will have figured put what needs to be done in order to succeed.

[EDIT]: I noticed that Jungling Items are in this mode, however Smite is unavailable & thus, you cannot buy them as they are not purchasable without the Smite Summoner Spell.

Bullet Hell is probably one of the most frustrating game elements to be in any game since the scythe hell in NES Cadtlevania's fight with Death.

Agree with almost all of your points. However, I think the constant Vel'koz are balanced around being extremely squishy while also not being able to move, which is why you target him first, Kog'maw second. (But they could definitely stand to be spawned a bit less, or just be squishier.)

I'm fairly sure that The Big One only uses the orb attack when guardians are attacking it, which makes things far easier if you just simply ignore her until you've finished killing all the other void monsters.

I agree, big vel kos that can adjust their aim can't be kited on the slower champs and it's near instant death to be caught.

Then personally i find the events with vel koz firing squadrons to be too much as well, 3 of them spawn in their own corner and 2 seconds later the map is flooded with plasma while a bunch of kha6 and cho prevent you from going near the vel koz'es.

Big one event is actually alright but a bit RNG, however i won more than i lost on that one, it was harder getting there.
