Team Builder was good for relaxing games

One thing I liked about team builder was you could join a lobby and you would see peoples crazy picks like teemo jungle and the people that chose to stay didnt care about winning or losing, they were there just to practice and have fun. No one would really mind if you lost lane and ended up going 0/8 they would just start a new game.

I feel bad right now for trying to practice ADC because i'm misclicking all over the place and i'm up against tryhards and potentially ruining the game for my teammates.

It still boggles my mind why they didn't just replace blind pick with Teambuilder. Yeah it had its flaws, but it was waaay less toxic than MID OR FEED INSTALOCK.

now people frown upon it especially when i take smite for my summoner

i could do the weridest shit in teambuilder ye didnt like it theres the door eventually you got 4 other people with weird lanepicks and builds and most of the time it worked fine too. The best part nobody would flame or disrespect you for it.

Sometimes it took a while to get a group together but nobody cared about that, playing 5 yordles or all demacians or 5 voidmonsters because you could, and that with strangers, was just amazing and it was fun

I'm really sad that TB got removed entirely and basically replaced by draft pick/dynamic. I don't dare go into Blind anymore, and hardly want to go into Draft Pick without my friends anyway.

I liked to practice roles in TB because I felt more comfortable that I wasn't going to get flamed for feeding while playing X role. It was also nice that TB tried to match you with people who had similar champion experience as you.

I sympathize with you. I would typically warn my teammates if I was playing something I was very bad at so they would have a chance to find a more reliable team if they wanted. Without Team Builder, people will mostly just be stuck with me.

Ikr. Team builder had both better games and less ragers. Even though I can't say I'd play it if it came back right now. Not enough balance

I played once Annie jungle and dominated. Then tried it second time and the enemy team was the whole game in my jungle. Team builder was great.

I think you're remembering TB with some rose colored glasses. Remember you would see that oh so crazy teemo JG pick and then wait five minutes between marksman and supports and then seeing them instaleave? And how when you played really non meta roles, only 1/10 rooms would even take you, and by the time you found one, at least one member would leave. I would mess around and Ahri support back in the day, and despite the fact that I still played to win and tried my best, people would still only see ahri support and leave.

TB was not as amazing as people keep saying it was, but I definitely served the purpose of letting people play where and how they wanted and dynamic queue doesn't do that. I'll sometimes want to play a mage bot lane when we have an AD mid but get raged at because if i have "bot" people expect an adc. If i pick intent a mage, people ban it. I miss team builder too, but don't forget how bad it could have been at times lol
