I think Rabadon's Deathcap should be removed, but for a good reason

Deathcap has always been a staple in most AP builds, bringing in a lot of burst for several champions when they feel necessary. However, the extreme cost, insane raw stat, and "all-or-nothing" snowball sort of feel you get from buying this item makes it feel a little bit boring almost. When you are behind, you need to buy items like item 3102 or item 3157, which start you out with very little damage to being with. This can make it very hard to do your job of killing the enemy ADC, and then requires you to farm out the game in order to get enough for a item 3089. 3800 gold is ridiculous, and the amount of AP you get is insane as well, but it provides no useful utility at all. Yet it is still required, because all your other items are sh*t with damage stats. Even then, if the enemy is building MR, you have to sacrifice a TON of damage you could be doing by buying a item 3135. Afterwards, you would still have to buy a Deathcap to be able to kill the ADC effectively since you don't have enough burst, which pretty much means you lose TWO items slots just for raw damage.

I would rather see most interesting builds for APs, rather than item 3089 item 3135 on every game in a mid main's match history. Once Rabadon's is removed, it would be easy to buff the other AP items, like giving back Zhonyas the beautiful 100 AP it had. Void Staff wouldn't have to be so reliant on having a Rabadon's for effective burst. Mages and AP Assassins will have a better time when buying a Zhonya's or Banshee's first.

what would you say to maybe droping the cost down to 3600 gold and merging void staff with death cap however drop the ap to 100 thhe passive to 15-20% and giving it 15% mr pen?

item 3089 item 3135 has a big advantage for the health of the game: it is very much a glass cannon build that does not give any outplay power.

This means that while the purchaser has a lot of raw power, the purchaser is vulnerable to being locked down, focused and killed - same as when an ADC is building pure damage.

This gives the other team come-back potential because despite the obvious offensive power these items provide, the power comes at the cost of being less able to tank, juke or kite.

If items like Zonya, RCS, luden's etc also have the big AP numbers this is more problematic because these items also provide outplay power. So by buying them not only are you better at killing the other guy, but also you are harder to kill. and you being hard to kill, when you are ahead, makes the other team less able to stage a comeback.
