What support MF? Thresh is the only one in that match with anything resembling a support build. It's also not surprising that a bottom lane AOE character outdamages single target characters. If your team didn't teamfight in her AOEs, that likely wouldn't have happened.

Not that you arent right, because staying out of the aoe is important, but her make it rain is pretty hard to dodge IMO and she could but a non tank down to 30-40% just by casting it on them. and as much as id love to focus her there are still other targets that needed to be cced like rengar or fiora as they dive. MF stayed in back and did that much damage from a safe distance is why this is a little crazy to me.

I would have prioritized MF over Rengar as Rengar isn't that dangerous after he blows his load.

Your team had other problems though. For instance, instead of building as a Tank, Amumu built as a mage. Despite the fact that MF was wrecking you, neither your support nor your tank built a Locket of the Iron Solari to boost everyone's MR (for Make it Rain/Liandry's) and to help shield them from the AOEs (from both Make it Rain and her ult). Your marksman went for pure damage and didn't pick up a defensive item (e.g. a Spirit Visage or Banshee's).

It's really no surprise MF melted everyone. Most of your team essentially has 0 MR after taking into account her items and masteries.

Totally correct about the itemizing poorly i hear ya. i was under the impression this was an ADC who build AD. she seemed almost more deadly building AP i was caught off guard and a little bit confused. Is the champ ment to be a mid laner now and i just missed the memo?

Lots of champs can be played either AD or AP, though of course, they're usually better at one than the other (I miss AP Tristana...darn you Riot!). MF makes a better Marksman than mage, but she can still be effective going AP. The issue was that you didn't itemize against her magic damage from Make It Rain and Liandry's. She did 80% of her damage to champions with those two sources of magic damage.

Your team's failure to itemize for her magic damage is why she outperformed the rest of her team in terms of damage dealt to champions. Most of your team had one or two armor items, reducing the damage dealt by Yasuo, Rengar, Graves, and part of Fiora's damage, but your team didn't itemize for MF.

You always have to look at what the other team is building and itemize accordingly.

P.S. Her Make it Rain was actually nerfed this patch and had its damage reduced by about 110 at max level. So yesterday, she would have done even more damage. ;)
