@Riot Are we ever going to get the personal store again?
You know, like the one we had for Snowdown 2015 where Riot pretended that they cared about us and gave us discounts on like five skins for champions were actually have and play regularly? That was my favorite, it made me feel so special and I appreciated that Riot went to such lengths to give me a personalized experience that I did utilize and happily throw my money at them for skins I actually wanted.
But then like...this past year for Snowdown 2016 Riot was all like "Hey, we know what you want! You want hextech crafting to randomly give you a whatever random skin shard for whatever random champion that you still have to use essence that you may or may not have in order to unlock it. Just buy this hextech chest and see what random item you get!"
Like what. Why bother going through the hextech crafting to get a random champion, skin, ward, or icon shard...when you could just do the mystery gift chest which does virtually the same exact thing except you're at least guaranteed a skin for a champion you actually own?
Like, I get that the personalized shop makes Riot lose money if people utilize the sales, but at least it was a way for Riot to be like "Hey, we appreciate you." Now giving us the seasonal hextech boxes that don't guarantee anything that you're actually interested in is just cheap, like as if Riot is just brushing the players off their shoulder like "Pfft, whatever, I'm going to get your money anyway so what do I care if you're happy or not?"
Riot, please.
