How is this even allowed to happen?

It creates a cheesy and crappy experience especially playing as support as you can't pull anything off after early game. It should be impossible per matchmaking to place a 5 man up against a group of solos, or excuse me one time there was a duo and 3 solo players.

Can a member of Riot explain the incompetence from the games matchmaking? Is it a bug? A coder? A leadership decision? Where is the screw up?

It also isn't fun or even a "game" when a 5 man pre-made with comms goes up against randoms. Many games lack a competitive mode but still do better at balancing the experience.

HotS make his MM search for same grups for limited time after that it widens search for example 5v5 than 5v4+1 etc, why it isnt thing in lol i dont know. But personaly it irks me more mixing players with complete different skill together and against. This should be Riot n.1 priority btw fixing this will also partialy fix pubstomping and overbearing champions plaguing low elo.
