How is a 5 man pre-made allowed to face a group of randoms?

This is my first post(technically second I guess). As some one who plays normal draft almost exclusively I am flabbergasted at some of the insane things that are allowed to happen, but above all sins of matchmaking I have seen is allowing a 5 man pre-made that has comms to face off against 3 randoms and a single duo or 5 randoms.

There is zero chance in hell for victory and you might as well agree to open a lane and go grab something to eat while watching Netflix until you can actually PLAY a game of league.

It is not enjoyable for either team(I guess the 5 man if they have low self esteem would enjoy it) and it is degrading to the game and the direction Riot is claiming to be going with it.

Last I played ranked I was Silver II. Not a demi-god of League by any means, but not incompetent either. Since I mostly enjoy normal matches since I have anxiety issues but having encountered this exact scenario several times rather recently is irritating. Unless you have a smurf on your team well above the balanced skill range you are not even going to be able to learn or grow on a champion.

So why is it even allowed to happen? I will gladly wait another minute or two while something reasonable is put together.

Investing a good deal of time lately trying to learn, played since season 5. I am comfortable clicking "Play" now but when I do I question if its going to be worth my 20-70 minutes.

Just make it balanced. I want to face someone slightly better who I can be challenged by, not a team that runs scrims and plays ranked together who is going to eat our team alive simply from the benefit of synergy and comms.

Because it's a normal draft. You're supposed to play the mode casually and not take it too seriously, that's what ranked is for.

its just normals.

Its pretty rare. 5 mans 8 times out of 10 put you against another 5 man. The other 1 time its some combination of groups. And on the EXTREMELY rare occasion against a full team of randoms. But i will say this is exceptionally rare

It's been happening for quite some time now, from my understanding if only matches you against pre made as random if there's no others in queue.

Most people don't really take it serious though since It's "Normals and Chill" whilst most people playing against pre mades can be frustrating most aren't trying as hard and usually their for the fun of the game rather than serious try hard.

2020 and still matching 9 out of 10 games vs either 4+1 or full 5 players and my team is 5 randoms

just play ranked instead, why do u even bother with normals? normals is only to learn the basics. and if you loose in ranked, so what? its only a game but at least u get some action, and there is no 5xpremade in the solo/duo ranked, only in flex if you choose it.

There isn't a "0 chance in hell"

If you care so much about your odds of winning then play ranked.

What you met is an extremely rare occurrence. If you are worried about if you will encounter it when you play the answer is "no"

I just was placed against a 5 man tonight. 0 fun. I am close to quitting as it is and to not have this bs cjecked at the door is a joke. ANY GAME this would be cheating and lol is no exception. Riot needs to ban themselves for exploiting matchmaking. It is as plain as day so I assume they just dont give a flying frick.
