Items Need to be More Specific

The items aren't near specific enough. To keep things as simple as possible, basically damage items should not give tankiness. Tankiness in itself is a weapon so adding scaling damage with it is stupid. Of course nerfing all the champs that build item 3071, item 3748, item 3053, etc would just create a vacuum for other champs to fill. So you have to anticipate who will fill that void and balance that as well. It is quite clear damage champs Fiora JayceRiven would therefore scale faster and have a disproportionate effect on the game. So If those above items are changed, you keep the juggernaut/bruisers that have good kits for laning strong early by also slowing down damage scaling, so both have a role. Same really goes for Galio Swain on the AP side of things. This is for another thread but can't forget that safety is a very valuable trait for a champ to have.

They can be personally fun but I do not see a good place where lane assassins exist, designed to individually snowball and carry early = designed for nothing else to matter.

Lane bullying, tanking, and carrying are separate roles. Having a default build that enables all roles onto a single champ just makes the game stupid. You should be given options to build based on what the game/matchup dictates. LoL is fun bc it isn't that hard, but if it is too easy it just takes away depth and fun. Just wanted to get this all off my chest before I start playing again. All that being said, utility is great and doesn't carry :)

well the items you list are bruiser items meant to be played by bruiser/juggernauts

so they are specific

Problem with that: Bruisers themselves are nonspecific, being champions with the tankiness of a real tank, the damage of a caster, and above average base damage+scaling.

That being said, those ARE bruiser items (steraks used to be a jugg. item, but since it was untangled from sheen its just a bruiser item). Doesnt mean they dont need nerfs; Cutting the HP on them all would be nice, for starters. Give them the knights vow treatment; 250 bonus HP, a couple hundred less cost.

IMO bruisers and fighters need some... changes. Dedicated tanks (Leona, Braum, Rammus, Alistar, Thresh) need 500 more base HP, and tank items in general need HP threshholds to get the full value of the item that bruisers cant reach unless they devote at least 4 items to tank items.

I definitely agree with your post, but hopefully you read mine in that nerfs should not be done in a vacuum anymore. Riot should be able to anticipate immediate effects of them to properly balance.

I understand your point of view of a specific role. But that role encompasses more than a specific function which goes against how a team game should work. Tanks and damage are separate assets if someone can buy both then it really gimps those who can only use one. Therefore they should have to be bought separately. Bruisers aren't carries, carries aren't bruisers. Lane bullies should buy what they need given the game, but shouldn't get everything wrapped into a simple package every game.
