Stormraider's Surge <- anyone use it?

People were using it on Nasus for a while, but Grasp of the Undying and 15% Slow/CC resist is too good to give up.

i use it on ryze he is so op with it :D

the best use i've seen of it is with a jhin. probably the best jhin performance that I've ever seen

and make great use of it, it allows them to have pseudo-mobility when they commence face-wrecking.

I use it on Sona

Q+Passive = Stormriding

I use this on ekko and it works VERY well. Also I've tried it on rengar and is quite fun

I only use it on mordekaiser if I ever have the niche scenario I can pick him

It is incredibly good on Wukong. The speed boost procs 100% of the time and makes it easy to hit your ultimate. The speed boost from the mastery and the boost from the ultimate allows you to catch up to people who flash away. It's also super strong for level 1 and 2 trades in the top or mid Lane. Just run up and wack them until it procs and finish with ignite.

It#s good on Veigar, he doesn't really need Thunderlords to kill people, but Stormraider will save him from their allies.

Its decent on Nasus vs squishy comps.

It's fantastic on jungle Vi. Makes her ganks guaranteed kills basically.

It's one of my favorite masteries tbh, just wish I played more champs that make use of it. I always take it on Kha, for example. Being able to proc that MS instantly is beautiful for kiting in skirmishes. People typically take Thunderlord's on him but honestly I don't think it's worth it, his burst is already absurd enough as is, being able to kite in fights and catch up to fleeing targets seems way better for the bug.

I also use it on Singed. It's probably not optimal for him but when it procs while you're ghosting and ulting it's honestly hilarious.

I love it on Nasus so much and use it on Veigar whenever I play him.

I use it on Illaoi since I go heavy damage with her. Allows me all of the cunning masteries as well as most of of the ferocity masteries. Thunderlord's is pretty meh on her, ferocity final tier masteries are also pretty bad on her, and while undying is pretty good, you sacrifice utility and damage to get it.

It allows me to reposition quickly, escape, or stick to my target due to the speed boost and massive slow resist.

I use it on Galio to back off easier after ulting and burst junglers that can't stick onto targets after using abilities like Vi. I can see arguments for using it on AD assassins to help you get out of Dodge while you are waiting for your Dusk blade to pop or possibly short to mid range burst mages like annie so you can flash combo then escape to safety. I feel like it has a place but it isn't comparatively as strong so it gets ignored.

I love it as a Mastery but at the moment you get outclassed by Thunderlords , grasp and Fervor when using it.

Stormraiders is a pretty niche mastery, since very few Champions can use it properly. However, the champions that do use it are insane.

Nasus late game with this mastery removes his weakness of being extremely kiteable, and basically turns him into a Raidboss if you been stacking his Q and itemizing properly .

Kha'Zix becomes even more mobile as he essentially runs like Usain Bolt from champion to champion.

Burst AD assassins also greatly benefit from this mastery such as Talon as it is a free speed boost, and slow reduction by 70%.

Try on hecarim for his passive

try it with darius and use flash and ghost and buy tri force ghostblade deadmans and zzrot

Akali does pretty well with it but so is thunderlords (assuming you are not tank akali)

can use it very well

most melee champion who like to gapclose, do a combo, run away can use this mastery.

I use it on shaco if u have a hard matchup to counter jungle so u can just be nuisance for them if not killing them anyway, tried on Kat didnt work to well...and nidalee it made catching after a full range q possible

I think it's great on ad champions, because of its high scaling with ad. But then again, every keystone except Windspeaker favors AD heavily, with AP having a small scaling to it.

It's a very niche keystone, quite good on few immobile champs like this guy -------->

I also heard that it's not bad on , makes you go very fast when combined with passive proc.

Master Yi sanic fast.

I use it on with and a 30% CDR page.

If you get a lead in lane, you snowball out of control, especially if you rush swifties+speed enchant after wota, then buy abyssal.

Tanky, hard to catch, easy to apply pressure, LOTS of damage and waveclear.

Even if you don't get ahead, its HUGE in teamfights where you can get an E+Q onto anyone while you have abyssal+void.

With Stormraider's Surge, you don't even need Zhonya's until 5th, or often even 6th item. Sometimes Deathcap even helps you more.

Stormraiders is a high mobility keystone so it works on low mobility burst champs, mages like xerath and vel koz who have a sense of kiting potential but aren't going to last against a yi or fizz. Or high damage, low mobility champs like ryze (up/down here)

a stacked nasus with it is always scary

i like it on au sol

Basically if u have a champ thats caple of thirty percent health in 2.5 seconnds its best for hard carrying 4 pubs late

Ive seen some funny stuff with an ap support tahm, bursting and then racing to your tower with the enemy in your mouth is a good laugh
