Hello I just bought kled and he is really fun but I don't really know what to do for builds masteries and runes I also don't know any good combos that you can use with him or what role he should be like top or jungle I not sure. What I want to do is start playing ranked games with him but I'm not good enough yet so yeah please help me.

your gonna wanna go time spent dead reduction quints, magic pen marks, seals, and glyphs. than you are going to want to take smite and tp. skill order is R>R>R>R. when you get in game you are going to want to buy a cull than rush mobility boots or sorc depending on if you are top or mid. remember kled is a proxing burst mage that stacks atk speed

Kled is a skirmisher, and as such that means you're going to want to have damage in your build, as well as survivability. The current go to damage items are Titanic Hydra and Cleaver. After that, you'll want to put the rest of your item slots to use as tank items. This will ensure that even though your damage will continue to fall off the longer the game goes on, you'll survive long enough to consistently do enough to be useful during fights.

The best keystone mastery for Kled right now is Fervor of battle, as it has amazing synergy with his W, and allows you to hurt with it and keep on hurting in the case that you want to go for an extended trade after getting off that much damage. I recommend putting the rest of your mastery points into the resolve tree for extra durability in lane, but some people prefer the extra damage from Assassin, and the healing from Dangerous Game.

Your ability spread can go two ways. In both cases, your Q is always maxed first. It's a good poke ability, and when both halves are allowed to go off, deals a significant amount of damage on it's own. From there you can either max W second or E second. Most people prefer to max W second for the extra damage and reduced cooldown on it, but some people prefer to max E second to reduce the cooldown and become more mobile. You can go with whichever is preferable to you.

As for Runes, since your W already gives you a decent way to abuse the Fervor Keystone, I prefer to go flat AD marks and quins, with the usual armor yellows and Magic resist reds. If you're having trouble last hitting, the AD quints can be substituted for Attack Speed Quints.

Crit kled is very good at one shotting important targets...early game you will be relatively weak but come late game you will be quickly killing enemy carries while also being relatively tanky with your built in survivability...usually I get 1 infinity edge 1 or even 1 phantom dancer 1 statik shiv...along with boots to counter one damage type whichever is less then an armor item to counter the other.

But thats just one way to build / play him....hes pretty good at stopping a yasuo from doing anything aswell since all his auto attacks are melee and he can keep up to yasuo...late game if yasuo did not build any defense stats he should be dead at the 4th auto.

You could also go tanky / bruiser....but thats not very good because your cc is lacking...even riven could do better then you at that with her aoe stun and built in aoe for black cleaver...at the very least get a frozen mallet and use your skills to make picks and catch people out.

I always go Frever for masteries, go traditional adc runs(Attack damage marks 1 AD quint - 2 Atk Sp quins armor seals scaling mr glyphs)

While I know TP is traditional top lane, ignite almost gets you first blood all the time

As for item build, I rush Black Clever, it really starts quickly during your W passive, and you become a dueling god Then Titanic for tankiness and wave clear aftere that I get GA to make suree I never die(I've only died once or twice after grabbing GA in the last 20 games I payed as Kled

As for boots, it depends, if you are way ahead and you wanna be a terroor, grab swifties, if it's ad heavy, tabis, and if th ere's a lot of cc and ap, mercs. I normally finish the boots after clever

after thosee 4, the last two is totally up to you. If you wanna be feared, grab a Steraks. If you wanna be ever more tanky, go with Randuins. Unless it's lethality adcs/no yas/tryn, then go Deadman's. last, I normally go with Spirit Visage.

Hope this helps!

Pretty much this build path. I use the same thing for Renekton :P

As far as combos go, its a bit difficult as Kled's kit doesnt exactly combo particularly well with itself. So basically, if you are ahead and can out duel your opponent, you want to land Q, Use your first E at them as it ends unless you can stay right on them without it, this gets you the second part of Q, and you want to unload your W procs at that point if possible. Use your second E to chase.

Skill order: Q first, then E if you are ahead, because it will allow your all in to be up more often. Otherwise you can do W for bigger 4th hit, but I usually go E. R whenever possible obviously.

You are manaless, so harass with your Q as often as possible.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

Go ham or go home. He's not a mechanically intensive champ. You land your Q, and then you shake em up. God damn badgers.
