Dynamic Queue Rank Makes No Sense If You Play With More Than 1 Premade

I'm sure it's no secret that premades are a double edged sword that can either be a huge advantage because your team properly utilizes it, or just be a team's worst nightmare when you have a trash premade whereas the enemy premade is SKTT1's smurfs.

I play with different friends and some friends are super try-hard while some friends DGAF. Naturally when I play with try-hard friends our premade is super strong and we dominate, or alternatively when I play with my DGAF friends our premade is worthless and almost never wins.** It's not possible for the matchmaker to estimate how much skill our premade has just by looking at our individual ranks, it would make way more sense to rate us as a team.**

I would say some of the premades I play in are worthy of Diamond, but most of the time when I queue with friends we're barely worth of Silver. The problem is even though we're terrible, the matchmaker's going to look at our individual MMRs and decide to match us against a bunch of gold/plat/diamond players. We might lose like 7 games in a row but then later our ELO will bounce back after playing normally, so that the next time we queue together we can go on a massive losing streak again.

Following this pattern, I've actually dropped from ~60% winrate on my Vayne down to just under 25% winrate because I play her almost exclusively when I queue with my feeder premade.

I don't think this is a fair or fun system for anybody in it, especially not the 2 random solo queuers who get tossed for the ride. Nobody likes bad matches. IMO the system should assign each premade an ELO instead of each individual players, so when I queue with my feeder friends it'll know to match us with Silvers where we belong instead of getting stomped every game by plat/diamond premades.

I can't imagine what else Riot thought would happen with DQ lol

The more friends I queue with the trollier we play, sometimes I feel bad for the 1-2 randos on our team who have basically been conscripted for free ranked losses

Same here. Most of my friends have a yolo philosophy to the game. We don't really coordinate that much. We're only on skype to make small talk, not to discuss plans.

Unfortunately, this means we lost the vast majority of our matches when we play together. Sure, we may all play perfectly fine for our elo individually. But compared to most premades, which tend to be far more coordinated? We suck awfully.
