Why Doesnt RageBlade Work On Nasus's Q?

I tried it out in Practice mode, but his Q doesnt proc Rageblade.

But his Q can proc a Crit. I was thinking maybe because its an ability it doesnt work. But Kayle uses E and it still procs Rageblade.

Nasus Q is a one-off AA modifier, Kayle E is a Persistent On-Hit Spell AA Modifier. Rageblade only works for persistent On-Hit effects like from items or in Champion kits like Udyr's.

Nasus' Q is an empowered auto-attack. Kayle's E is an on-hit effect (and the splash is a spell effect).

And no, Nasus' Q does not crit. The auto-attack that's being empowered by the Q is what crits.

The Rageblade proc doesn't double the damage of on-hit effects and I don't know why anyone would describe it that way.

It's best described as an extra attack with no base damage, like Master Yi's or Lucian's passive except with a 0% AD ratio instead of 50%. If you have an on hit effect then it will apply again. If you have an effect applies every Xth attack (4th in the case of Master Yi) then it will count as another attack towards that counter. If you have an effect that is consumed by your next auto (triforce, nasus Q) then it will be consumed by the first attack and then the 'phantom hit' has nothing to do with it.
