Refillable health pots not offering enough and feel like noobtrap

Is it just me or do the refillable health pots feel like a noob trap? When I buy one of them it feels like they cost way too much and don't offer enough especially when it comes to mana. Corrupting potion holds three charges and only restrores 50 mana per charge which isn't even the mana cost for 1 ability on most champions. Can we possibly have another type of refillable potion introduced into the game for champions who want to restore more mana and maybe it restores less health? Or maybe just bring back mana potions?

Yea, I was just thinking that there's no remotely reasonable replacement to flask start. On top of taking Mana regen out of masteries, etc...

Starting to wonder if buying Mana regen glyphs (and maybe seals) is going to be a thing this season... just trying not to waste IP on it in case Riot decides to fix this.

The Hunter's Potion is very good.

But for laners, yeah Corruption Potion costs 400 and is inferior to Flask aside from the small dot benefit.

The cheaper one restores more mana if you chug all 5, for 100 less gold, if that at all helps in the current moment.

300 HP + 175 Mana vs 450 HP + 150 Mana (for 100 more gold) You also get that mini-DoT.

Not sure if saving your money is better for what you gain. Haven't tried to work out the numbers at all.

Consistent regen after every back that you can keep into late game before selling to free space. May or may not be worth.

Perhaps double/triple Doran's are in order if you're enough mana starved?
