Riot, are there any plans to improve ranked matchmaking by checking for D/C ?

You're on a win streak, you get to your promos, and your first 2 games are instant losses because a teammate was AFK from the very start. You're essentially penalized for your teammate being afk by losing LP and MMR.

Other games have a system to check if all players have connected and they do not penalize teams for AFKs.

At this late in the game isn't it surprising nothing concrete has been done to address this commonality? All we can do is "report" the player. Let's be honest, that might feel like some type of reconciliation, but it's not if we're still losing LP and MMR.
