Why people be toxic in ranks?

If you see one of your teammates is playing bad, then why tf you have to mention it to him? That too, as demeaning and as rude as possible? Instead of wasting time and concentration on typing and (trying to) roasting your teammate, why not say something constructive? Even if you have a really trash teammate, you can just tell them not to die, the late game will be different. Instead, if you (who is playing good) gets busy telling him/her (who is playing bad), then you will also lose your cool/gameNirvana and start to lose too. This, in turn, makes you angrier on that player.

I am having new experiences in controlling all those angry and trash players to get overall best for everyone. Controlling my team, game map. This is a proof council will prevail. (I know toxicity will never be completely removed from this game, I just wanted to say the part about council )

because it doesn't require a lot of intelligence to flame others.

These players (Lee, Cait, Lux) DO NOT know the definition of "Play safe."

Another reason is that they should know better without needing anyone to tell them what to do since they are plat/diamond +, at this stage no one should have to baby them on how to play the laning/mid phase.

If they were iron-gold, I wouldn't even bother saying anything cause I don't hold them to the standards of plat+ players. Long as they don't flame anyone on the team of course (why irons-silvers flame I'll never know.)

Some people are inherently toxic. Ranked just amplifies that by virtue of being the competitive mode.

Trash shouldn't be playing ranked. If you want to play ranked and die 5 times before 10 minutes in lane then you deserve all the abuse you get.
