I really like playing him, and just curious as to what people think his current state is outside of the jg. Also, I'm currently running health/lvl yellows and health & health regen quints, starting either dorans blade or dorans shield. Is that a good idea? Thanks in advance.
Haven't seen him in the middle for ages, but I guess main reason for it was how Zed is the middle assassin for ages and ages now, and nobody even though about picking Kha there.
top khazix can abuse the bushes for his passive, thought most tops just straight up 1v1 him 
mid khazix... seems kinda hard with all the range in mid currently

some time ago and i just 3 shot him
ok mid, you abuse your W sustain and eventually get ahead in the HP bar, you all in and its a free kill. just dont take too much poke before you're ready to all in.
top is iffy, you reserve it for someone who you can counter strongly, like maybe a fiora or a GP, you will lose out to most of the tanks who normally build sunfire first item.
Mid works vs champs who cant cancel your E cause you outsustain pretty much everyone and your lvl 6 powerspike is stronger than Zed's Top not really pretty much all these lame tanks can kill you because you know they are tanks and they are supposed to kill things (kappa)
mana problems. Nocturne also can't be played in lane, because of going oom...
