Has anyone seen any context on the nerfs Janna is currently getting on PBE to her shield's AD values? They don't matter all that much, but I've never seen anyone ever having a problem with the damage that it gives allies. I've also personally never believed that what it gave was extreme or worth a nerf.
The intent was to trim some of her less appreciated power because she's been overperforming lately.
We had larger nerfs targeted at her ultimate with the purpose to reduce melee frustration. We opted out of them because she isn't so strong that we wanted to tone down her highest moment of excitement and power. Note: disable duration is still down on her ultimate, we had other changes that reduced the range of the knockback which were pulled.
Janna has been overperforming for a long time, so I would guess that the nerf was meant to address her strength while keeping her peeling and defensive power intact.
