I just had to leave a game because we had a player not wanting to do anything else but top as Tryndamere in Ranked. . He said no matter what even after top was picked. After top was picked he went Tryndamere with Teleport and Exhaust spells and started to say many colorful words. This isn't even the first time something like this has happened recently.
There should be an option to kick someone for shit like this and under reason it includes:
-Taking a called lane -Planning to feed -Leaves during games

I'm not on the team that works on this stuff so I don't know details but: We're hoping the (upcoming) Team Builder Draft will take care of lots of issues, including this one -- It'll be a new system where players choose 2 positions, queue up for matchmaking, and then get sent into champ select with the other positions filled in.
We generally don't see players go into a game with the specific intent of trolling (they just act like pricks when they don't get their position), so if players can guarantee their position in a match, we should see less of this stuff.
There is hope. I reported a player through him the horribly useless ticket system after they did something similar. I included the chat log and they responded with:

Implementing an option to report players who troll during Champion Select sounds reasonable, and although I am not able to handle feedback reports here in Player Support, Riot Games has established a set of forums for our players to submit ideas and advice. Rioters check there every day for insight directly from our community
So there is some hope.
League seriously needs a 'vote to kick' feature in champion selection. Most other games have it and it works out just fine for all of them. It would most assuredly work here too.

I understand a vote kick system in ranked would be controversial because of all the jungle AD LeBlancs out there. However I think there should just be a report system available in champion select for people who don't respect the pick order. I'm tired of seeing these last pick "top or feed" dorks because I know they get away with it in a lot of their games.
If you give them top, then they feed, and when someone asks them to play safely, they spazz and AFK. I'd much rather report them and dodge, then waste 20 minutes of my life getting wrecked because the enemy got fed. You lose a lot more LP as well.
What we really need is a better reporting system.
The last game me and my friend were in, we had a blitz feeding, spamming and harassing. He was feeding by constantly diving into unwinnable 2-5v1 situations when the rest of the team either backed out or died. He was constantly spamming the surrender vote just because he was doing poorly. And he was constantly harassing our ADC for "getting me killed".
Our match lasted over an hour and somehow we won with 2 aspects of drags and 2 barons (we almost lost at the 45 min mark.) and it didnt help with no one grouping until 20 minutes before we won. And both me and my friend were telling the blitz to shut the hell up cuz of his incessant whining.
At the end of it all both me and my friend reported him. But the problem was, he did multiple things during the game worth reporting and there is not option that ties all that together. I know there is an "additional comments" part but considering the topic of which you report them for is for one area and you would be talking about that area along with others, its just stupid.
That is why i want a simple report option of "being a dick" and THEN explain why you think that teammate is acting that way.
