assuming they both have the same runes and sameish masteries and both start q with longsword?
i had one experience where i was able to out trade riven top 1v1 as xin with q only and i was wondering if he is decent to run as a counter?
I'm looking for top laners to play against riven and all I play vs riven are garen and singed.
also who else is a decent pick into riven?
Drunk Rummate1 votesYes, Xin wins early game versus Riven. She outscales though.
Rumble and Kennan are both good picks into Riven if you want a strong lane and strong teamfight, but you have to avoid 1v1s later with her.
Jax and Darius are good picks if you want to 1v1 her at most stages of the game. But you do have to learn the matchup because she has a couple of power timings when she can 1v1 you if you're on equal gold/xp at that point.
