League of Legends Match History

In my most recent game, i experimented with a Sona build. My reasoning for this new route was to prevent me from soaking up to much damage. It helped me effectively peel for my adc and have better sustain in lane for some harass. To my surprise, i was doing a contributing amount of damage while filling in a tank role that the team was desperately lacking (we only had a Singed to act as our tank).

As you can see in the link provided, the items i have chosen were -frozen heart -sightstone -abyssal scepter -spirit visage -iceborn gauntlet -armor boots

I had 275 armor with over 150 magic resist and 2.2k health 40% cdr Nearly 2k mana

The game didn't last long enough for me to see the full strength and weaknesses of this build, so here i ask:** will a build like this be helpful in nearly every game? **

On paper and experience, it worked great! but i do not know if it was more luck or a one time thing. I asking for everyones wisdom to help me strengthen this build.

We need more hybrid builds. I play ap crit shaco. And i love trolling the enemy team. It gets me wins and is part of my strategy. Focusing around his boxes, It's either Lure or Distract. And Trap :)

Keep up exploring other builds instead of going with the meta. How do u think builds got in the meta in the First place?
