Separate placements

Riot should really separate placements from actual ranked games. The fact that people can just play placements games and start at a set elo, where a lot of them can either stomp because they're a lot better than the set elo, or completely destroy a comp by being bad is just broken to me. Not only that, but people should have to play their 10 placements, so that they actually put time into their placements, and don't just play a single ranked game and then never play again. I have some ideas for how Riot could maybe balance it out; you look at normals as a very vague measure for a starting elo; for those of you complaining that normals shouldn't affect your ranked, 1, it won't after your placements, and 2, you shouldn't troll in normals either; trying out new champs is fine, but you shouldn't troll either. Secondly, just separate normal ranked from placements. If you start placements by using a baseline elo system, you have so many players from different elos coming in, and you have smurfs, people who just finish their level 30 climb and probably eventually get placed in mid bronze that end up playing with silvers/golds. One final thing: Riot should maybe put a pop-up box for the first ranked games. Although it is a game, people do treat Ranked seriously; it's the "serious" part of League, and normals is there for just plain fun. For example, I recently had a Maokai mid and Riven support. In normals I'm somewhat OK on this; Riven's got CC, you might wanna try her, Maokai's pretty in the meta right now, you might wanna try him AP. Just my thoughts; having Placements and people who are actually climbing in the same Queue seems broken.
