New Triforce: Riven?

So this has been discussed a ton of times before, but thoughts on new Triforce on Riven? So far it seems too expensive an item; however, Sheen passive and CDR might be useful. Thoughts?

First off does Riven have the base AD to justify focusing on the sheen procs over building more AD which she has a lot of AD ratios to use? 56 – 107 is high enough to potentially justify it.

THing about Riven and Trinity is not that it would really be bad on her but that it would likely not be the best on her given her AD ratios are solid already.

Could it be done? Problaby. Effective? to some degree yes.

It might be worth looking into but likely not the best item for Riven.

Not worth. Sheen's mana is wasted and her base AD is low. She'd get more damage overall just building AD

It's not a bad idea to build it, but not for early game. I would either start building hydra and then get to the black cleaver vice versa. If you want something for cdr, just get 9x glyph of scaling cdr and the intelligence mastery to get the full 45% cdr. As for Sheen's passive, I generally get tiamat as an extra auto attack for farming and trading. I just dont see a reason to get sheen. If the Triforce works for you, just stick to it. But this is what I use for Riven. Truth be told, oddly enough, I dont think I have ever built triforce on Riven. I guess it's something experiment on later.

considering how fast riven's combo is your not gonna proc it enough to make it a worthwhile item. I Think essence reaver would be better Since you can get 30% cdr just by building an infinity edge. And you most likely have a riven page with 10% cdr so that you can stack your passive for early game additional power and helping leash jungle.

Riven's passive is basically an AD-scaling Sheen already*, so you're better off just getting more AD for that.

Black Cleaver gives more Health and AD than Trinity does, grants the same CDR as post-update Trinity, has a better version of the Rage passive, and is significantly cheaper. Riven also doesn't particularly use Attack Speed, and obviously doesn't use Mana at all.

I mean, Trinity wouldn't necessarily be bad, but Cleaver just offers more for her.

*I know, Riven's passive doesn't proc on structures. You can still improve your turret-taking by just buying AD, though.

the thing is most champs that build it try to scale. while riven wants early power. bc is much better on her. tf is powerful but its gonna take a little longer and it doesn't really have the ad. i feel like your passive would do similar damage to sheen proc if u go to a higher ad options. while still getting damage on your abilities.

I think it is a neiche item and wont be good in alot of situations. The stats seem to benift her but i dont really care for crit strike attack speed while playing riven

If you wanna go for some AS + CDR= ER + PD combo looks better - 20 % CDR + 50 % crit chance. Trinity is too expensive, if you don't use all stats. I would buy it on Trynda, if the Mana+ Sheen proc weren't useless.
