i think "cheating" is a bit of an exaggeration. can understand during lane phase, as xerath there are less things to focus on, and you may land your spell more often (plus the Q hitbox is a bit off, and may be misleading). however, casting Q at max range puts xerath in a dangerous situation, especially now that there's so much mobility everywhere. his W is fairly dodgeable, not to talk about his ult. things get worse after laning phase, when everyone can get out of nowhere and kill you if do something wrong. don't get me wrong, i love to play xerath also because of the tension it gives. but i don't really like the way "cheat" is used to describe his gameplay pattern sometimes. there is a certain amount of mastery needed in order to achieve a certain success with him, and if that's the case, i don't see why you shouldn't get rewarded. there are also more frustrating champions, but i won't get into there.
