Nautilus in the Yungle

Hey, y'all!

I'm a Plat 5 jungle Nautilus player. I'm streaming a bunch of Nautilus games today where I'll be talking about my Nautilus strats - and also (hopefully) dominating with hooks.

I play Naut a little differently than most, emphasizing MS with runes/masteries (utility), and often building into Sunfire and Abyssal after mobs/jungle item. I also find Naut to be a generally strong jungler, and have tried some different set ups and routes, landing ultimately on something that gets me near full health with both buffs at lvl 4 around 4:15.

I'll also be posting a guide here and on Lolking later. If anyone wants to jump in on the Naut conversation - please do!

Check out the stream: www.twitch.tv/snackiecakes

Also, I've been doing a podcast about gaming and, largely, League. We're on Itunes! SnackieCakes! Also, here: http://www.snackiecakes.com/snackiecakes-podcast-3/

Thanks, broskies.

OMG, <3 <3 <3

Nautilus is my favorite champion in the game and he's so underplayed especially since he' works better than a lot of old jungles in the reworked jungle. I'm only silver 5, though i've played about 300+ games on nautilus XD. I've been feeling lately that i don't truly understand the champion so i'm so happy to see someone play him and discuss him. THANKS SO MUCH.

I was watching your ARAMs, they were quite awesome tbh - your gnar was on point. XD

As for how I build nautilus - generally full tank with Magic pen runes/Ap masteries so i still do a good amount of dmg to squishy champions. In the jungle i just rush movies into Randuins/thornmail/Banshee's/Situational item. It's a build that allows you to 1 v 1 a lot of AD champions due to thornmail dmg and you can shut down split pushers well. It does lack dmg, i'll admit, but i like the ability to just tank entire teams' dmg.
