Vayne got nerfed and now the community has found their latest scapegoat, Kog'Maw.

Community is bad at the game
Needs to find a scapegoat to prove that the game is unbalanced
Uses win rate as evidence (that at best proves correlation) of a champion being OP
Champion gets nerfed
Communtiy is still bad at the game
Needs a new scapegoat
Rinse & repeat

The only problem I have with Kog is how painfully hard it is to try to kill him when he's being babysat by a decent Lulu or Janna player.

Though that holds true for most ADCs regardless of whether or not they're Kog.

It's almost as though any champion is OP when played properly against players who think they should be able to carry without having to coordinate with the rest of their team. O_O

While I get your point of how strong Tristana can be. There are some key differences.

Kog has HP% damage which is strong, no matter who has it. Kog has hybrid damage in both abilities and build path that make it very hard to build against.

Kog/Vayne are the epitome of bad/god-tier in terms of balancing. Either Kog's power is worth well above his risk factor, or his risk factor is way above worth being picked, with no in between.
