Can anyone explain the Normals matchmaking for me?

So I made a new account, trying to get to 30 and have to play normals. That's fine, but why are the teams so imbalanced? Like holy shit, i'm never in a game where for example bot lane is losing but top lane is winning or vice versa.

It's always either my team stomps and wins every lane hard or we get absolutely rekt. Both result in me feeling as if I have zero impact in the game and I don't gain much from these sorts of matches in the way of experience (even if I have the best KDA/Damage or whatever). The matchmaking is just a complete shitshow in my experience.

And, of course, at the end of every game, a quick GGOP of each players account confirms this for me. Either i'm on a team where everybody is on a decent winning streak versus a team where everyone is on a loss streak and vice versa.

Is this just a coincidence or is the matchmaking this embarrassing? I'm not even ranting about being paired with noobs, I don't really mind tbh because it's only normals but I just don't see how a popular games matchmaking like this, can be this bad (in my experience).

I just want some fun games with similarly skilled people instead of these shitshow fiestas that I keep getting dumped in.

Dont quote me on this, because I am unsure of some aspects of it. I do know there is a hidden elo type of thing. I think it adjusts every 24 hours... so if youre on a losing streak and you log off for a while the game is like oh this guy sucks and tries to compensate by putting you in a lobby with sucky people on the other team then you smash... game thinks your good and puts your in a lobby with good people until you lose again... middle ground people are kinda screwed lol

I think new accounts suffer from a little extra because there's not enough match history, and there's a lot of odd spikes. Smurfs who are tryharding (obviously). Smurfs who just unlocked their main. And 'smurfs' which are actually bad players whose mains are currently banned because they're bad and blame their teammates. Those are fun.

Normals matchmaking on my end-of-season6 main here is pretty imbalanaced. One game I'll get three golds. Next game the enemy team'll get three golds. Next game there'll be a plat yasuo main into a bronze 4 galio mid. Even if you can cope it gets annoying that the whole narrative of the game folds and flows around these variables.
