Seriously....turn off auto-fill

What's the point of having this awesome "Pick 2 positions you want to play" queue and not get positions you want to play? I'd rather watch grass grow than play support it's a waste of MY time. Especially in ranked....I don't want to play a role I don't know how to play, end up failing miserebly and costing myself and 4 other people a game, while probably getting raged at and reported because I don't know what I'm doing.

Just turn it off. Makes me not even want to queue.

I dont get why are people who agree with the "autofill" thing are so fanatic, it feels a bit religious imo.

freedom of choice guys, you want your roles? then wait 10 mins you want to play fast? then fill you want something in between? then chose your roles and activate autofill

the CHOICE is what we want

May i suggest that you actually learn to play that role? Even if it might sound borring it doesn't mean that everyone want's to play the role except. 1 HUGE misconception is that "Pick 2 positions you want to play" = guaranteed. It just rises the chances, there's still a chance you'd get any other role depending on what's needed (mostly supports).

Riot is changing a few things soon though. There will be an option added to pick the least wanted role. That way you still get autofilled any other role while the support role has the lowest chances.

tbh I'm not someone to judge how riot does things i simply give my opinion, hopefully Riot finds a suolution so that we can get over this, by either making the support roll "more fun" or fix the queuetimers.

I get what you are saying, but no thanks. I don't play this game to be a heal bot or ward bot. That is not fun.

Heal/ward bot? You seem to have the wrong idea about supports. Yes some are focused on healing (soraka for example) and vision is mostly relied on supports ( although i disagree abit with the vision thing), you can also play supports like lux, annie, thresh, blitz, alistar, sion...etc. who have more teamfight potential unlike soraka or sona (which by the way 1 good Sona ult would turn the whole teamfight to a victory if you ask me). Unless KDA is your only reason to play League, supports have a huge impact and are no where near useless or boring. the only difference is your lower gold income and higher assists than kills.

Seriously I'd rather sit in queue for 10 minutes than play a 40 minute game as support. Just got switched into mid after queing top/bot haha. This game is stupid.

I hear you and respect your opinion, I just don't share it. There are some positions in this game that really bore me and SUP is #1 to the point I'd rather just queue dodge and log off for the night then suffer through 30-40 minutes of it.

I just don't understand why after all of these years they just don't let you play what you want to play. They make these boring roles and characters and then force you to play them, it's brutal. If you don't play what you are forced into playing, your team gets pissed and reports you and you get in trouble for not doing something you don't want to do.

I get it, queue times can suck higher up but frankly I don't care. I can sit in queue for 10 minutes and watch youtube/twitch/random website and be perfectly happy knowing atleast the next 40 minutes of my time won't be wasted doing something I hate.
