I might be the minority, but I miss team builder

Hi All,

I don't frequent these boards so I'm not sure how the community feels about this, but I wish it wasn't completely removed from Normal. I really enjoyed just picking my role and character and hitting the Normal Queue. I'm not sure I like this new queue better as it is still somewhat random. Can't we just have the new Dynamic queue along with the old Team builder queue? I really don't want to queue 2 positions if I just feel like playing 1 at the time, or want to practice a character in normals.

Just my .02 I'm sure there are peeps on both sides of the fence, but I think it was a bad idea to remove it completely. Alot of us really enjoyed it.

You are not at all in the minority there has been a lot of complaint about removal of Team Builder and you have also done your bit. I hope they bring it back.

No you're not the minority. Literally everyone in my friend's list is swearing because of this. And you have to take in account that lots of people don't use the forums at all.

There are a lot of people who are upset for the loss of Team Builder. I liked Team Builder too, but I also feel that the new Champion select makes Team Builder obsolete.

You have an extremely high chance of getting the role you want, and are guaranteed to get a role you can play half-decently. Getting the champion you want is just a matter of communication with your team not to pick or ban that champion (especially if you want to do something crazy like Lux jungle) and to hope that the enemy team doesn't pick/ban that champion.

Yea glad I'm not alone. Hopefully they will change their stance and re-implement it. It completely removed all the horrible experiences in champ select, you actually got to just play what you wanted which was awesome. I don't care if it doesn't ever go to ranked and they can keep their new version for that, I just wish I could play what I actually want to play when I login. :(

To keep it simple: You cannot keep both. If you do then it ADDS another league queue which makes ALL queues of the type (IE: Normal, Ranked) work longer and harder to find people who match the exact specifics.

For example:

Lets say you want to play normals but only 50 people in the whole server are online. 40 of them are playing team builder. 15 of them are playing Blind. 5 of them left. Then that queue can't happen.

Now I know my example was exaggerated but it would significantly increase the timers on each queue.

By the way: Why does everyone hate Dynamic Queue? It reduces toxicity, AFKs, and just overall chance that you'll lose. If you honestly think you're going to get bullied by a premade then find 5 friends and create a Dynamic Queue team. You don't know how much toxicity I've ran into now that Solo Queue / Duo Queue got re-enabled. Even when I solo'd in Dynamic Queue I never got bullied into anything. I'm unsure as to why everyone hates Dynamic Queue. It's so funny since Team builder received SO MUCH HATE when it came out and some of the same people who hated it are defending it now.

Lots of us want some form of TB back. Maybe they will put new champ select in normal blind pick with the option of choosing just one position instead of forcing us to pick two. Wouldn't it work like regular blind pick, just without bickering over lanes? Players get the exact lane they want to play, nobody has to play a lane they don't want, and teams can still pick good fitting champs.
