Champ Select Freezing - Occasionally being kicked out and losing LP
I did open a help desk ticket submitting all requested logs, but I wanted to open something here to as I have a few days off coming up soon where I plan to LoL binge and hoping to have it fixed. :) I am also curious to see if anyone else is experiencing this, or has found a way to fix it. Most of the searches I've done seem to be just people reporting it but no resolution.
I am occasionally having an issue in Dynamic Ranked queue where it seems like I almost lose connectivity for about 1-2 minutes during champ select. Depending on when it happens and where I'm picking, sometimes I get booted with a Temp queue ban and lose LP, and other times if I'm farther in the pick order I can actually get my pick in.
I know everyone is thinking it's my internet, but it's not. I have verified I can surf the net among other things while this is occurring. The game itself doesn't freeze either, the timers actually countdown to 0 and then just stay there. For instance, last night I had a game where the last enemy ban I watched the timer hit 0 and then it just froze there. I can still surf the champions and mess with masteries and stuff so the game is not freezing. Luckily I was 3rd pick on my team, I resumed control with 4 seconds left and was able to quickly pick a character.
Other times I have made it through champ select, only to have the actual game countdown timer freeze at Zero. I eventually get an error message telling me the game was disbanded. I then restart my client and it tells me I'm in a game, but won't let me reconnect. After waiting the usual 1-2 minutes, I can eventually connect however sometimes this puts me 1-2 minutes behind my opponent.
It's super frustrating, hoping to find a solution. I am in IT so I'm not a complete moron when it comes to this stuff, i have checked all of the obvious stuff like firewalls, disabled Antivirus, ran Virus/malware/spyware checks, I even re-imaged my PC over the weekend with a fresh install of windows.
