[RENGAR] Revert Q, and alter (mostly nerf) other parts of his kit that are gimicky/non-thematic.

In a scenario where a tanky champion stands between Rengar and the ADC, Old Rengar would still 1 shot the ADC.. New one would likely die trying, and with my proposal, its more 50/50.

Both live Rengar, and the old Rengar had a number of issues, but i'll try to keep the focus aimed at finding the equilibrium between the 2.

Both Old Rengar and New Rengar have an insane amount of upfront burst if they meet particular requirements. In terms of 1 shotting in ult, Old Rengar generally needed 5 stacks of ferocity + empower Q. If these were met, his ability to burst was greatly increased. Live is slightly different, while unable to hold onto ferocity and jump with an empowered ability, Rengar is granted a critical strike on contact. So as long as his prey is marked (hopefully the ADC) his burst will be greatly increased.

There are a number of videos out now showcasing New Rengar 1-Shotting a squishy target in .01s.. This is done without Rengar's main ability Q. Meaning, what should be his primary source of damage, isn't even needed for the ideal 1 shot on live..

I'm going to suggest a few changes, then explain why i feel these changes are better for the health of the champion and the game itself.

Passive: Keep Q: Revert W: Reduce non-empowered W heal by 50% (cut the healing on basic W in half...) E: Keep R: Keep, but remove auto crit.

This would do so much for balancing, i'm having a hard time figuring out a way to start listing them all.. lol. I suppose i'll just go threw them in order.

Passive: The current passive is fine, sure the idea of Rengar's Q having a stacking AD steroid from passive is scary, but lets not forget that the ferocity falls off and cannot be held prior to engaging. Meaning, his burst would be significantly less than before.

Q: 1.Single Target is much more fitting for an assassin. 2. Fluidity. 3. Thematically more fitting for Rengar himself. 4.Much more satisfying to use.

W: Currently W is just simply busted. It isn't fit for an assassin at these numbers. If we cut the healing on basic W inhalf then it forces Rengar to be more careful about his decisions. Rather than get CC'd for 80% of your HP then when you finally break free, press W 2x and get it all back. At least this way (with it cut in half) it mirrors what the other spells of Rengar's kit does. Example: Empowered Q-More damage, + Attack Speed Steroid. Empowered E-More Damage + Root, Currently, Empower W only means, Remove CC. When it should be: W-More Heal + Remove CC. With this change in mind, i also propose lowering his CD on W from: 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 to -> 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12.

E: Pretty much everyone agrees this spell is fine. (esp since the bugs on it have been fixed)

R: By moving the reliability of damage back into his Q, the crit is no longer justified in this spell.

In terms of balancing the ideas i have presented, it should be much easier than Old Rengar, and surely for the one we have on live. It would make it much easier for Riot to look at his kit and Remove or Add damage where they feel its needed. Currently, the auto crit on Rengar's ult really skews where his power is. If Rengar is strong enough to the point he doesn't even need to use his spells to 1 shot someone, that should scream BROKEN. If Rengar's damage shows to be too weak, Riot could easily add more damage to his Q, Passive, or E depending which they feel is more appropriate, without having to consider the broken concept of auto critting on his ult.

I hope this wasn't too complicated and i got my message across.

The CD on Q is stupid low. It needs to have a longer CD for the damage it outputs.

edit: This was OLD Q
