Why is begging for Nerfs the go-to instead of actually trying to learn the game.

I understand that Riot has some flaws in their balance, but why is it that if someone has a problem with a champion, they come here and try to rally up a bunch of other people who hate taking the time to learn, and try and beg for nerfs.

Seriously, do these people (or you?) ever think, maybe the champion isn't OP, and that you simply suck at playing around the champion? Maybe you need more PRACTICE? I for one hate playing vs Katarina and Fizz. Do i think they are op? No, will i tell my friends they are? Probably. But deep down i know they have their own flaws and i just suck at playing around them when put into the hands of a good player.

Is this way of thinking really that hard? Or is everyone a God at this game and if something isn't easy, then its the systems fault?

Most people are only interested in themselves and often build accordingly so. People die once in lane and first thing they do is build more damage and march right back in to go in 1v1 thinking, "Last time was a fluke, this time I'll get them for sure..." This goes on about 10 more times.

What people need to realize is what they are playing against in terms of damage, damage type, and abilities.

Take this for example. Let me revisit a game of mine.

My team. Darius Udyr (Me) Syndra Jinx Rakan

Theirs. Camille Volibear Annie Ezreal Soraka

Right before I get into the game I am already planning my build. I notice 2 things. Soraka and Voliear. Two BIG healers. How do I stop healing? Simple. item 3123 800 gold, boom, Soraka becomes useless and I don't have to worry about Volibears passive anymore. Second thing, Camile and Annie have a stun each, Volibear has a slow, Ezreal might build Frozen Gauntlet, and Soraka has a snare. What do I do? item 3111 Done. I have just reduced the effect of a champions ability or abilities. Now on to my personal goals. Depending on how the game goes, I will either build tank or go damage. Luckily, most of my games don't seem to get TOO out of hand to the point I have to rush 2 or 3 tank items. But if that does happen, it's not too bad.

My point being, people don't know what they play against and how to, you're right. That's a big problem. You don't counter a fed enemy by building more damage, you do it by building resistances first and THEN going for damage.

I just think Lifeteal and spellvamp champs and enhancing items for it and damage reduction is making certain champs able to 1v3-4 / survive 1v3-4s when they were only slightly ahead... Sure you got 2 kill sin lane and are farming well you should be able to 1v1 anyone on the map... but survive 1v3's while taking someone with you.. Mind typically coming out with half health or more even though we got you down to 1/4th health or less common... Fiora Vladimir Draven Ekko

These sustain AP mid champs have too many options for activated items and even more survivability.
