Petition To Remove Leaver Buster

I left a match, for various reasons, for the first and only time this season. I now have 20 minutes waits for 5 games. There was no warning, and no smaller wait time. 20 minutes x 5 is just ridiculous, punishing your players, community, and paying customers, is just plain stupid.

Previously last season, I was demoted from Silver 2 to Bronze 2, because my team had disbanded the match, while myself and a player on the other team were still staring at the loading screen. If you don't believe me you can check out my lolking.net record and it shows a massive dip off where it happened (would be s steady line downwards if it was from loosing games).

Your game is bugged, you admit it, you fix it. Leaver buster is bugged, pointless and unforgiving. I don't think it is something that can be fixed, only removed.

I agree that should you fail to lock in during champ select repeatedly you should be blocked out for a few minutes, sure, but handing out demotions and massive total amounts of wait times like candy on Halloween for your messed up networking code (connected and loaded 100%, but other people are in game and your not, was connected all throughout champ select but now you have to re-load client to be able to connect to the actual playing part), client bugs, and real life issues is F'ing dumb.

I move to remove this horrid system completely and I am sure I am not alone in being wrongly screwed by it repeatedly and never seen it do a god damn bit of good for the League of Legends community (unless you think punishments and fines are good).

The only thing i don't like when the person reconnects and the vote still goes through at 3-2

For all you people voting no, justify as to why you think punishing people is a good thing that should be kept please. I do not understand your justifications, and it does not stop people from leaving just punish them after the fact.

If you start a game, you commit to playing through. If for some real life reason, you have to leave a game, you take the consequences.

If there was no leaver buster, people could leave any game whenever they want, causing players to get frustrated with League in general, the higher percentage of 4v5's would make it less fun, people would leave for other games, and Riot would lose money.

Not only is your idea a bad one, there is no way Riot would ever implement it, because it would cost them money.

Loosing power for 6 hours ...something i cant control...then I want a match and get punished. Yea im voting yes to remove it
