I have a question about the new IE

The new infinity edge no longer gives 20% Crit and doesn’t give Crits 50% bonus damage. What it now converts 20% of your Crit damage into true damage and doubles whatever Crit you already have. So does this mean that infinity edge is something you get every game no matter what or is it something you get in certain situations?

The intent of this change is to make crit builds better against tanks and worse against squishies. This change will make it a great buy against tanky enemies. I don't know exactly how it will perform against squishies compared to other items though.

Crit is probably going to become a bit more situational, and only be picked against tanks or juggernauts.
