Viktor vs burst champs and Assassin's (ie. Akali, Zed)

How in the hell is he supposed to even attempt to fight people like Akali and Zed? I know that League is a game of counterpicking and that "there's no one champ to rule them all" but come on now, there's getting countered by champs and then there's "GG lost lane at champ select". Akali, Zed and other bursty and assassin champs will likely lose to Vik pre-6, but once they hit 6 all they do is just burst on him and then leave before his W even has a chance to do anything. Yeah sure his Q shield helps him more now, and that's why he actually does decent pre-6 now, but that miniscule shield doesn't mean a damn thing once the ults start comin in. Zed can Death Mark in, use his full combo and then just teleport back to his shadow before Vik's W can stun him. Akali can just throw down her invisible field thingy before the W stuns her so Vik won't know exactly where she is (or if she's even stunned) and then jump out and burst Vik afterwards. Either that or Akali can use her dash to get out of Vik's W and then burst him down before his W has a chance to even stun. Champs like Leblanc do that same thing with their escapes

I dunno, I just feel like Viktor still isn't viable. I'm not all that skilled (I'm only Silver V for a reason) but as a Vik main it just kinda sucks to not be able to use him as often as I'd like to (effectively that is).

So my question is, how the hell do you Viktor players out there deal with these MUs?

Answer: YOU DON'T.

Don't pick Viktor if they have burst assassins. And League isn't balanced for Blind Pick.

Zhonya's? It counters a zed pretty hard. Upgraded Sweeper? Boom, akali problem solved.

Pretty easy to deal with them, but obviously they have the advantage as they are built to kill squishy targets, so build vik a bit tankier than you normally would.
